COVID-19
Let’s connect. The District understands the uncertainty and isolation that many are feeling during this time of COVID-19. We feel it too and felt that it was important to come up with a way that we could unite the community digitally, even though we cannot come together physically.
This site has been created with the purpose of bringing the community together, even though we are apart. Isolation is something that many people are feeling right now and we at the District thought that this would be a great space to share ideas of how you are staying connected, spending your days, recognizing accomplishments of people in your life, and spreading some kindness throughout the community. Do you have an innovative way of staying connected with your loved ones? Did you witness an act of kindness from a neighbour that brightened your day? Share them with your fellow neighbours and community members. We will get through this together.
Celebrating Successes
We understand that during COVID-19 many people are having to find different ways to celebrate accomplishments. Graduations, weddings and celebrations have all been put on hold as we do our part by staying apart. Even though we are not together physically, we can still recognize accomplishments.
