Oak Bay is home to many parks that hold close memories for families in our region. Carnarvon Park is one of those parks, serving as a pillar of the community.
The District of Oak Bay is looking to the long-term future of the park with a refresh of the Carnarvon Park Master Plan and Main Building design, and wants to hear from community members regarding programs, service levels and design.
Where we are today
On Monday, January 22nd, 2024, Oak Bay Council awarded the contract to refresh the Carnarvon Park Master Plan and prepare an OptionAnalysis for the Main Building to Carscadden Stokes McDonnald Architects Inc.
The next steps for this project include District staff working with Carscadden Stokes McDonnald, and opportunities for community members to share their inputwhich will be incorporated into a Capital Project Report to be presented to Oak Bay Council at a later date.
