Background
Oak Bay is home to many parks that hold close memories for families in our region. Carnarvon Park is one of those parks, serving as a pillar of the community.
The District of Oak Bay is looking to the long-term future of the park with a refresh of the Carnarvon Park Master Plan and Main Building design, and wants to hear from community members regarding programs, service levels and design.
Where we are today
At the November 10, 2025 Council Meeting, Council directed staff to hold a public information session on current progress and designs for the Carnarvon Park project and collect feedback on the proposed designs.
A public information session showcasing current proposed designs was held at the Sports View Lounge at Oak Bay Recreation Centre on Thursday, January 8 from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. You can review the design presented below and share your feedback through the questionnaire before it closes Thursday, January 22.
Feedback from the questionnaire will be presented to Oak Bay Council before seeking direction to prepare construction drawings and documents.
